Terms and Conditions
Prices and Payments:
- Prices quoted are for a one-day or weekend hire only, and are exclusive of GST.
- All published prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Full payment is required before delivery unless prior arrangements are made. Payments can also be made upon collection of items from Party Hire Auckland. Accepted forms of payment include credit card (held until goods are returned as delivered), cash, EFTPOS, or online payments.
- Any losses, breakages, or damages will be charged in addition to the original hire price.
- Late payments will incur interest at a rate of 2.5% per month from the due date until payment is received. Any costs associated with debt recovery will be charged to the hirer.
Equipment Responsibility:
- The hirer is responsible for any loss, damage, or breakage of equipment and packaging (including boxes and crates) at replacement cost.
- It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the equipment until it is returned or collected by Party Hire Auckland.
- Equipment is not insured while outside of Party Hire Auckland’s premises or vehicles.
Usage and Liability:
- The hirer accepts full responsibility for the correct use of the equipment and will be liable for any injury or damage caused to persons or property.
- The hirer is responsible for all delivery costs. Delivery times are approximate, and additional fees may apply for difficult access.
- Party Hire Auckland is not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control.
- Deliveries made to third parties or unoccupied premises are at the hirer’s risk.
Inspection and Return of Goods:
- All goods are checked before packing. It is the hirer’s responsibility to inspect the goods upon delivery and report any discrepancies or damages. Complaints made after goods are returned or collected will not be considered.
- All dinnerware, crockery, and cutlery must be ordered in multiples of 10.
- Dinnerware, crockery, and cutlery must be returned rinsed, food-free, and repacked in the original delivery containers. A cleaning fee may apply if this condition is not met.
- If Party Hire Auckland is collecting the equipment, it must be placed in an accessible location. Return visits to collect missing items will incur additional fees, or alternatively, the client may return the items to our premises.
Modifications and Cancellations:
- Party Hire Auckland will make every effort to supply the exact goods requested but reserves the right to provide similar items if necessary.
- All hire items remain the property of Party Hire Auckland.
- Any broken or missing items will be charged on return of the equipment
- A cancellation fee of 50% of the confirmed booking value applies when cancelled 48 hours from the day of hire. The balance is to be retained as future credit for reserving the items, administering the booking, preparing the items and preventing prospective customers from booking.
